General terms and conditions of sale

1. Preamble:
These terms and conditions are concluded between, firstly, the SPRL CAOUANNE currently being incorporated with headquarters located at rue de Livourne, 156 – 1000 Brussels and, secondly, the individuals wishing to carry out a purchase via the Caouanne website (www.caouanne.be) hereinafter referred to as “the client”.

2. Scope of application
These general terms and conditions apply to the sale of any products present on the website www.caouanne.be. Any order placed with Caouanne must be made in accordance with these general conditions of sale and therefore implies their acceptance.

3. Delivery and delivery periods
Concerning delivery periods, Caouanne undertakes to dispatch the order via bpost within the 3 working days following the day on which the payment is received.
Regarding delivery, in the event of loss, Caouanne undertakes to provide a refund solely once the courier has confirmed the loss of the items in question.
T-shirts and sweatshirts are sent in recycled cardboard boxes via Belgian post.

4. Contract approval
The sales contract is only judged complete once the payments made by credit card have been debited from the client account.

5. Secure payment
The client declares that he/ she disposes of all the authorisations necessary to make a credit card payment on approval of the order. Where fraud is suspected, Caouanne reserves the right to initiate an additional information process by requesting various forms of documentation from a client and, following this step, to cancel or suspend any order or delivery even where payments may have been approved by PayPal or Stripe.

6. Cooling-off period reserved for individual customers
Under the conditions set out by law and within the context of an online sale, the buyer is entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period, as of delivery of his/ her order within which time he/ she can be refunded for any returned products. The buyer must return the merchandise in its original condition to our address (rue de livourne 156 – 1000 Brussels). He/ she will receive a refund for the purchase amount within 15 days.
We will cover all shipping fees for returns made within Europe, costs for returns made from elsewhere will remain the responsibility of the buyer.

7. Data protection
The client is entitled to a right of access and rectification regarding any data concerning him/ her. Caouanne undertakes to completely respect the confidential nature of all client data saved on its computer equipment. Caouanne undertakes not to disclose any information likely to enable third-parties to gain access to a client’s personal data as defined by the law on data protection.
